Association for Development of Business Logistics LLC has created the new project in the sphere of Informational Logistics which makes easier international freight transit through the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The project name is Development of electronic road atlas and guide book for international carriers during transit on the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan
The main aims of the present project are the regional trade and transport infrastructure development as well as the increasing of transport corridors competitive ability in the region of CAREC by means of giving all participants of traffic process new informational-logistics service in the form of constantly updating electronic road atlas and guide book.
Expected outcome:
- time reduce of delivery and distance run during the shipping;
- reduce transport expenses during the realization of trading operation;
- increasing of transit traffic attractiveness on transport corridors of CAREC countries, which passing the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan;
- rising of income for transport companies.
The following tasks should be implemented in order to meet the Project objective:
1. Create the electronic atlas of international highways with linking to other highways of the Republic of Uzbekistan with opportunity to choose the route from one place to another with pointing of distance.
2. The creation of the informational data base, which will contain constantly updating informational modules:
-on distance between cities and localities.
-on highway conditions designed for transit transportation;
-on presence, location and condition of wayside infrastructure objects on service international freight carriers (petrol, service, medical and meal stations, hotels and so on) including border and customs control centers.
3. System design of operational updating and introduction of changes in electronic road atlas and all informational bases.
